Hi World!
Hi World!
Hello
World!
My name is Andrew Zellinger. I am a Product Designer with over 12 years of experience. I'm a full stack design director specializing in ux research, experience design, ixd design and identity design. I'm practicing user-centered product design, leveraging data, user insights and many years of design experience to create products that add tangible business value by design. I attended The School of Visual Art in New York City and graduated with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and Advertising and made my start as an Integrated Digital Art Director. Later, I made a transition to a career in Product Design and Brand Design and have consulted for a wide variety of well known Design Studios. Moreover, I have spent a significant portion of my design career as an independent designer. I commonly embed with teams as Design Lead, working directly with founders of early stage startups helping them build up companies from 0-1 and beyond.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and collecting new cultural experiences abroad. In my spare time, I'm usually investing in my continued education learning new design skills and technologies. I've developed a passion for fitness and wellness over the years and have become a certified personal trainer on TrueCoach. When I'm not at my desk or in the gym, catch me surfing Discord, or even better living my real analog life.

In 2024, I am seeking full time
Lead Product Design opportunities.
My journey as a designer.
I grew up in a small blue collar suburban neighborhood just outside of New York City. When I was a kid I'd save money for months on end, ride my bmx bicycle to the local baseball card shop, and spend it all on comic books and a Street Fighter II arcade game. When I got home I would spend hours tracing out comic book characters, and eventually learned how to draw Spiderman from memory. Over time, my passions for sketching, painting and storytelling led me to a career in design. Fundamentally, I've always loved working with my hands to create new things. I don't secretly wish it's deeper than that, I'm cool with it.

I've been a designer for over 15 years. The unconventional career path I've chosen, allowed me to develop a massive design skill set, travel the globe, and make friends and memories along the way. I've been a lot of places and have seen a lot of faces. As 2024 approaches, I can't help but recognize my industry has reached an inflection point. All of the turmoil of late has made me realize that I'll always be a designer with or without the universe's permission. I'm still that kid in the photo who likes to play around and make things.

Want to learn even more
about the designer?

So, you want to learn even more about the boy?
